Client – Electrocomponents
Challenge and approach
Electrocomponents, a global provider of industrial and electronic products and solutions, wanted a renewed sustainability strategy that would differentiate it from its peers.
We designed and carried out a materiality assessment for the Group, identifying key sustainability risks and opportunities. We engaged internal and external stakeholders, identifying potential issues across a wide range of environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics and performed external benchmarking and reviews of sector trends.
Results
Our insights contributed to a new holistic and agile sustainability strategy that addresses the Group’s stakeholder pressures and growing expectations. Refined understanding across the Group of how its material issues might impact its business. More connected internal audiences – investor relations, risk management, supply chain management, and sustainability – following a common language to tackle complex issues going forward.
