Challenge and approach

Our client, Government department, engaged Havas to lead its National Research Engagement programme on Climate Action. The programme was part of the wider National Dialogue on Climate Action in Ireland.

Results

Havas is responsible for delivering 2022 Climate Conversations which is formed of five strands of research detailed below:

  • Designing and launching an online consultation for the Climate Action Plan
  • Designing a National Representative Climate Literacy Survey assessing climate literacy levels amongst citizens
  • Supporting and coordinating the facilitation of local and regional workshops with Public Participation Network (PPN) across Ireland
  • Facilitating focus groups with specific, hard-to-reach groups
  • Conducting interviews with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts

Sophie Nicholson

Business Director, One Green Bean

Sophie is passionate about creating and leading purpose-led campaigns that deliver real impact 
for clients. She devises and implements strategic, creative, award-winning integrated ESG-focused consumer communications campaigns for clients including Nestlé, Sky and Reckitt. She is an expert in understanding how to make a story fly and land big national media coverage for clients such as Visa Europe and the Institute for Economics and Peace.

Tom Wilkins

Public Affairs Director, H/Advisors

Tom leads the multi-sector public affairs practice, with a focus on sustainability and energy policy. He has successfully led client accounts including the UN Principles for Responsible Investment, Stellantis, the International Hydropower Association, MHI Vestas, and L&G. Prior to joining Cicero/amo, Tom worked for several consultancies, lobbying successfully on the Energy Act 2011 and on Electricity Market Reform (EMR) for energy clients.

Jen leads the Gate One sustainability team and has worked with clients to produce, plan and implement sustainability strategies and build capability. She is an active content contributor and thought leader in the sustainability space and has spoken on BBC Breakfast about driving greater sustainability in retail.
