Challenge and approach

We have worked with Phoenix Group on its materiality assessment which informed both its sustainability strategy and reporting practice. We helped it develop the structure and content, and communicate its annual sustainability reports. This year, we also worked on its first Climate Change report which hosts its TCFD response.

Results

We raised internal awareness among key senior stakeholders on a variety of ESG issues through the materiality assessment. This led to a strategic review of these topics and to a series of commitments and actions being put in place to address them. We equipped Phoenix to respond to the growing expectations of stakeholders and to manage its operational and reputational risks more effectively.
